Role Description The Business Development Commercial Partner role is an on-site position based in Melbourne, VIC. This role is responsible for identifying and developing new commercial opportunities, building strategic relationships with prospective and existing clients, and promoting JIT Solution’s offshore services. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting client meetings and presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating commercial terms, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful service delivery.

The role also involves monitoring market trends, contributing to pricing and go-to-market initiatives, and maintaining accurate records of pipeline activity and performance metrics.

Partner is expected to represent the company professionally, support revenue growth, and help shape long-term business strategy.

Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in business development, sales, or commercial partnership roles, preferably within professional services, outsourcing, or technology sectors.

- Strong skills in lead generation, client relationship management, negotiation, and closing deals.

- Ability to understand and communicate value propositions related to offshore resources, cost optimization, and compliance-focused solutions.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation, proposal writing, and stakeholder engagement.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and develop actionable business strategies.

- Comfort working in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple opportunities, and prioritizing tasks effectively.

- Proficiency with CRM systems and standard business software (e.g., Microsoft Office or equivalent).

- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Knowledge of compliance, data security, and offshore service models is highly beneficial.

- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and work on-site in Melbourne, VIC on a regular basis.
