About The Role
Mandala Hospitality values people first. As a Casual Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing aspects of culinary experiences, preparation and operations, including guest satisfaction, food service and event catering. The skills and talents you bring will play a critical role in maintaining high standards and maximising guest experience.
Immediate Start Available:offering approx. 3–4 shifts per week - includes some breakfast and weekend shifts.
What Your Days Might Look Like
- Prepare and present high-quality dishes in line with our menu standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen and food storage areas
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations
- Assist in menu planning and development
- Provide exceptional catering services for events,
including weddings, conferences, and private functions
- Prepare and serve breakfast dishes with variety and flair
About You
- Previous experience in a similar role within a hotel or resort setting
- Strong passion for cooking and delivering exceptional food quality
- Qualified Chef
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work across various shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Experience in event catering and a keen eye for detail in presentation
