Join our team as a Cleaner and help keep a range of community facilities across Sydney CBD clean, safe, and welcoming.

Role Details

Position: Cleaner

Location: Sydney CBD

During training, you will work across multiple sites, including libraries, childcare centres, town halls, community and recreation centres, and depot facilities.

Once fully trained, you will transition to a primary site.

Start Date: ASAP

Roster: Monday to Friday 18:00 to 01:00

Pay: $37.91 per hour + super

Contract: Casual, with the opportunity to transition to permanent employment based on performance

Your duties will include:

Cleaning bathrooms and amenities

Maintaining kitchens and common areas

Dusting surfaces and touchpoints

Vacuuming and general floor care

Ensuring facilities are clean, secure, and presentable for the community

You will initially work across multiple locations to gain experience and training.

After approximately three months, you will transition to a primary site.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Must:

- Have a reliable vehicle and the ability to travel between sites
- Be physically fit and able to perform cleaning duties throughout your shift
- Hold a National Police Clearance issued within the last 6 months
- Be able to pass a medical assessment and drug & alcohol test
- Work independently with strong attention to detail
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to evening shifts
- Have previous cleaning experience (desirable)
