The Allied Health Assistant (Allied Health Assistant 01) at The Onemda Association plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality allied health services. As an integral part of the team, you will be responsible for providing essential assistance to allied health professionals and contributing to the overall wellbeing of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assisting allied health professionals in delivering therapeutic and programmatic support to clients.
- Supporting the implementation of individualised care plans under the guidance of qualified practitioners.
- Contributing to the assessment and documentation of client progress and outcomes.
- Facilitating group activities and exercises as directed by allied health professionals.
- Participating in team meetings and providing valuable input on client progress and service delivery.




- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring confidentiality of client information at all times.
- Assisting with administrative tasks related to allied health service delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant policies, procedures, and regulations in all aspects of work.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates:

- Demonstrated experience working in a healthcare or allied health setting
- A natural communicator, with sound written and verbal communication skills
- An ability to exercise sound judgement and independent decision making
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Understanding of patient care principles and practices
- Proficiency in using relevant equipment and technology
- Knowledge of infection control and workplace health and safety procedures
- Completion of a Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent qualification
- NDIS Workers' Screening Check
- Knowledge and understanding of the NDIS sector and your role in it
- CPR
