The Margaret River Hotel is building an exceptional opening team, and we're looking for an enthusiastic and talented Cocktail Bartender to help create memorable guest experiences from day one. This casual position is ideal for someone who is passionate about cocktails, hospitality, and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Whether you're crafting signature drinks, sharing your knowledge of local wines and spirits, or delivering outstanding service, you'll play an important role in bringing our venue to life.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails, beers, wines, and other beverages.
- Deliver friendly, professional, and engaging customer service.
- Provide recommendations and confidently discuss cocktails, local wines, spirits, and beverage offerings.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and well-stocked bar area.
- Process orders and payments accurately using POS systems.
- Assist with stock control, restocking, and daily bar setup and pack-down.
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and compliance with licensing regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the venue, dining room, and events teams to create outstanding guest experiences.
- Reliable, well-presented, and a positive team player.

Qualifications:





- Previous experience as a bartender, with cocktail-making experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
- Friendly, confident, and professional communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
- Current RSA certification (essential).
- Reliable, well-presented, and a positive team player.
