INTEC Energy Solutions is continuing to strengthen its internal construction capability across Australia and New Zealand, with dedicated Civils and Electrical Divisions supporting the delivery of major renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Backed by INTEC’s global renewable energy expertise, our internal delivery teams are building practical, productive, and commercially disciplined capability across civil infrastructure, photovoltaic (PV), battery energy storage system (BESS), and high-voltage substation projects.

With this capability continuing to grow, we are looking for an experienced Construction Manager to lead project delivery while helping shape the systems, capability, and culture that will support our future growth.

About The Role

As the Construction Manager, you will provide senior site leadership across construction activities, coordinating teams, subcontractors, resources, and work fronts to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the required quality and programme outcomes.

You will lead day-to-day construction activities across civil works and associated electrical interfaces, including earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, trenching, cabling, and other project infrastructure.

Working closely with project management, engineering, procurement, commercial, HSE, and quality teams, you will drive productivity, resolve construction challenges, and maintain strong delivery performance.

This is a hands-on leadership role with the opportunity to play a key part in developing our internal construction capability, strengthening site leadership, and helping shape how we deliver current and future renewable energy projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead day-to-day construction delivery, coordinating teams, subcontractors, resources, and work fronts.




- Oversee civil construction activities including earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, and associated infrastructure.
- Coordinate civil and electrical interfaces to maintain safe and efficient project delivery.
- Drive performance across safety, quality, programme, productivity, and construction outcomes.
- Identify and resolve delivery risks while working closely with engineering, commercial, HSE, quality, and project teams.

About You You will be an experienced construction leader with a strong background delivering major civil, infrastructure, renewable energy, or related construction projects.

You Will Have

- 10-15+ years’ experience in civil construction, infrastructure, renewable energy, or major projects.

- Proven experience leading site teams, subcontractors, plant, labour, and construction resources.
- Strong experience across earthworks, roads, drainage, foundations, and major site infrastructure.
- Strong understanding of HSE, quality, construction planning, productivity, and contractor management.
- Renewable energy, solar, BESS, substation, or major infrastructure experience highly regarded.
