Position Overview:

We are looking for experienced contract trainers to deliver high quality, engaging, and compliant training for our White Card course. The ideal candidate will bring a solid construction safety background, exceptional communication skills, and a genuine commitment to workplace safety and student success.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver interactive and compliant training aligned with CPCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry unit requirements.
- Provide practical safety insights drawn from real world construction experience.
- Conduct assessments and provide timely, constructive feedback to students.
- Support student engagement and understanding, ensuring readiness for site work.
- Maintain accurate training records, including attendance and assessments.
- Collaborate with MBAV team members to continuously improve course delivery and student outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

- Demonstrated vocational competency and significant industry experience in construction, with strong working knowledge of WHS/OHS practices.
- Current knowledge of OHS legislation, industry standards,



and regulatory requirements relevant to CPCWHS1001 delivery in Victoria.
- Current TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Must hold a current White Card (CPCWHS1001) or equivalent.
- Ability to meet RTO and regulatory compliance requirements for delivery and assessment of CPCWHS1001.
- Demonstrated experience delivering CPCWHS1001 (White Card) or similar WHS training (desirable).
- A current Working with Children Check and Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
- Exceptional verbal communication and facilitation skills for diverse student groups.

Skills and Attributes:

- Confident public speaking and group facilitation skills.
- High level of professionalism and reliability.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail in record keeping.
- Demonstrated proficiency in various information technology applications, especially the Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Commitment to promoting a safety first culture in the construction industry.
- Proven capability in initiating, cultivating, and sustaining relationships. Willingness and capability to motivate and empower individuals to reach learning outcomes

Additional Information:

- This position is offered on a contract basis. Must be able to operate on a personal ABN.
- Training may be delivered at MBAV facilities or on client sites
- Sessions may be scheduled on weekdays, weekends, or evenings depending on demand.
