The role

We are seeking an experienced Cook/Cleaner to join our team at EDC Electrical & Co. in Weipa, Queensland. In this full time role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our staff, as well as maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment.

Immediate Start

Free permanent onsite accommodation, meals and utilities provided

Key responsibilities

1. Prepare and cook meals for our team of approximately 10 people
2. Ensure the kitchen and dining areas are kept clean, tidy and sanitised at all times
3. Maintain stock levels of food, equipment and cleaning supplies
4. Assist with general cleaning duties across the workplace as required

What we're looking for

1. Minimum 2 years' experience as a Cook or in a similar role
2.



Strong practical cooking skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques
3. Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards of cleanliness
4. Excellent time management and organisational skills
5. Versatile and adaptable, with a positive attitude
