About the role

We are seeking a Curriculum and Character Coordinator to support the Head of Teaching & Learning and the Head of Character & Culture in the implementation of key priorities across the Primary School (Prep to Year 6). The role works collaboratively with staff to strengthen teaching practice, student character development and consistency of practice across the school.

Core Duties

- Providing a visible example of mature Christian leadership through an active faith in Jesus Christ, a servant-hearted mindset, strong personal character, integrity and humility.
- Model Christlike relationships and conduct, actively supporting the College's mission, Biblical foundations and commitment to development Christ, Character and Excellence in students and staff.
- Supporting the Head of Teaching & Learning with the implementation, auditing and monitoring of curriculum priorities and initiatives, including documentation, reporting, resources and online programs.




- Supporting the Head of Character & Culture with the implementation of character, behaviour and restorative practices, promoting consistency in student expectations, relationships and responses across the primary school.

About You

- You have personal views and beliefs that align with the Christian ethos of the College, and you are able to demonstrate an active faith and church involvement and are able to teach and live from a Biblical worldview.
- You will be an Australian qualified teacher with QLD Teacher's Registration or registration with another state and the ability to obtain QLD Teacher's registration;
- A passion and capacity to build programs that promote student flourishing through being equipped to know God and live for him.
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and the capacity to develop and sustain productive relationships within and beyond the school community to foster a robust Christian culture.
- Capacity to effectively manage human, financial and physical resources to deliver high-quality organisational outcomes.

Remuneration will be set commensurate with experience and qualifications.
