Whiz Kidz Early Learning Centres & Preschools are family‑owned and operated services across NSW and Victoria. Founded by two sisters and mums, we're passionate about creating nurturing, high‑quality learning environments where children, families and educators feel supported and valued.

Since opening in September 2025, our Sydenham centre has experienced incredible growth and has quickly become a valued part of the local community. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced and passionate Toddler Room Leader to join our team and lead our busy Toddler Room.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced educator who is passionate about working with toddlers and wants to take the next step in their leadership career.

As our Toddler Room Leader, you'll lead a dedicated team of educators and create a warm, engaging environment where toddlers feel secure, confident and excited to learn. You'll have the support, resources and autonomy to develop an inspiring program that responds to the individual interests, needs and development of the children in your care.

You’ll play an important role in building strong relationships with children and families, mentoring your team and ensuring the room operates to a high standard of quality, safety and compliance.

What You'll Be Responsible For

- Leading and mentoring a team of educators within our Toddler Room
- Planning and implementing engaging educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
- Creating a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment that supports toddlers' growing independence, confidence and development
- Building genuine and respectful partnerships with children, families and your team
- Responding to children's individual interests,



strengths and developmental needs
- Documenting children's learning and development through the Xplor Home App
- Maintaining high standards of quality, compliance and safety in line with the National Quality Framework
- Working collaboratively with the Centre Director, Educational Leader and wider leadership team

What We're Looking For

- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA approved) or higher
- Previous experience as a Lead Educator, within a toddler environment
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF, National Quality Standard and toddler development
- A positive and collaborative leadership style, with the ability to mentor and inspire educators
- A genuine passion for supporting toddlers through this important stage of their development
- Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma & Anaphylaxis, Child Protection training and Working With Children Check
- A current National Foundations Child Safety Training certificate
