Job Description

Ford & Doonan Malaga is looking for an experienced Residential Sales Manager to take ownership of and grow our residential air conditioning sales division. This is a senior, hands‐on position for someone who knows the WA HVAC industry, can lead from the front and wants genuine autonomy to grow a residential sales business. You'll manage our existing residential sales team while continuing to design, quote and sell your own projects.

Key responsibilities

n

Take responsibility for the residential sales process from initial enquiry through to sale and handover, working closely with our administration and operations teams to provide a seamless customer experience

n

Manage, support and motivate our existing residential sales team

n

Personally design, quote and sell residential AC systems including ducted reverse-cycle, splits, multi-splits and smaller VRV/VRF applications

n

Ensure both personal and team KPIs are consistently exceeded

n

Improve sales processes, conversion, productivity and team performance

n

Build long‐term customer and industry relationships and actively generate referrals and repeat business

n

Maintain strong relationships with key suppliers

n

Represent Ford & Doonan Malaga at trade nights, supplier functions and industry events

n

Identify new opportunities to grow the residential division

n

About you

n

Minimum 5 years' HVAC sales experience

n

Air conditioning industry experience – ESSENTIAL

n

Experience within the Western Australian HVAC market

n

Ability to confidently design and sell ducted, split, multi-split and smaller VRV/VRF systems

n

Proven history of achieving and exceeding sales targets

n

Ability to manage, motivate and develop a sales team

n

Excellent relationship‐building skills with a strong focus on referrals and repeat business

n

Good commercial awareness and skilled communication and presentation

n





Confidence dealing with customers, suppliers and industry partners

n
