Burnie Brae is one of Brisbane's most respected community organisations supporting older people to live connected, active, healthy lives. We're looking for a Senior Marketing and Communications Coordinator to lead the voice of our brand while our current coordinator is on leave. Someone who can take ownership of digital marketing, campaigns and communications across a values-driven organisation.

This isn't a "keep the seat warm" contract. You'll be trusted to run campaigns end-to-end, shape how our community sees us, and make a visible impact in the time you're here.

What you'll be doing

- Planning and delivering marketing campaigns that support real services people rely on
- Owning our digital presence: website content, email marketing, social media and online advertising, with the analytics to back up what's working
- Writing and producing our monthly newsletter, from sourcing stories to final polish
- Building relationships with internal teams and external partners, and shaping how we tell Burnie Brae's story through media and PR
- Mapping the customer journey and using data to make our communications smarter and more targeted
- Working closely with our Senior Leadership Team on key events, campaigns and brand strategy

What you bring

- 5+ years in a marketing role, ideally with hands-on experience across social, digital, and traditional platforms
- A tertiary qualification in marketing or related field




- Robust copywriting and communication skills
- Comfort with analytics and a strategic mindset
- Desktop publishing or web design experience; video production skills are a genuine plus
- Experience in community services or aged care is highly valued, but not essential
- A current National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)

Knowledge / Qualifications:

- Current National Police Check
- Tertiary Qualifications in marketing or a related field

Work Experience:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar marketing role or related discipline preferred.
- Experience assisting with new marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Experience working with multiple marketing platforms, including social media.
- Experience with desktop publishing and web design
- Experience with video production would be highly advantageous.
- Experience in community services and/or aged care will be highly regarded.
