You'll be joining a well-established insurance brokerage with a strong reputation in the Australian market. The role will see you working closely with a major Tier 1 construction client, managing a challenging and diverse liability claims portfolio.

What will you be doing?

n

n
- Manage a portfolio of complex construction liability claims
n
- Handle PIPA claims through to conference and resolution
n
- Manage complex recoveries and drive claims towards subcontractors where appropriate
n
- Provide strategic claims advice and add value to principal contractors
n




- Manage third-party lines and coordinate with key stakeholders
n
- Build strong relationships with the client, insurers, brokers and other parties
n
- Lead the liability function and provide guidance on complex claims matters
n

What do you need?

n

n
- Vast insurance experience, ideally within General Insurance
n
- Strong commercial liability claims experience
n
- Construction liability and PIPA experience is highly desirable
n
- Experience managing complex claims and recoveries
n
- A background in broking and/or insurer claims will be considered
n
- The maturity and confidence to manage relationships with Tier 1 clients
n
- Someone who can pick up an established portfolio and run with it autonomously
n
- Strong communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
n
