Australian Chillers & HVAC Solutions – Melbourne VIC

A full time, onsite position you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, fault finding and repairing a broad range of HVAC and refrigeration equipment across a variety of commercial, institutional and manufacturing sites. In this role we value candidates that can think independently to streamline internal processes and can align with our core organisational values. This is an opportunity to work alongside highly experienced HVAC technicians, and multiple other trades employed within the organisation, on technically challenging projects, with genuine opportunities for ongoing development on cutting edge equipment.

Key responsibilities

- Preventative and reactive maintenance of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
- Fault finding, diagnostics and repairs on chillers, package units, VRF/VRV systems, split systems and associated mechanical plant.
- Commissioning and equipment upgrades
- Completion of service reports using electronic job management systems (AroFlo, Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite)
- Maintaining strong relationships with clients through professional communication and quality workmanship
- Working safely while complying with company procedures and industry standards

About you

- Restricted Electrical Licence (or equivalent), Current Victorian Plumbing Registration
- Current Working with Children's Check and National Police Check
- Current Victorian Drivers License, with the ability to drive a manual vehicle
- Excellent communication skills and a qualified attitude




- A commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Superb technical skills in troubleshooting and preventative maintenance for HVAC and Chiller systems
- Knowledge and experience in Plumbing and Electrical works
- Proven competency in adhering to EPA standards and safety regulations

Created 13 years ago by owner and managing director Mark Dessa, the organisation has grown to service facilities in Melbourne's CBD, suburbs and regional Victoria.

Expanding from general servicing and repairs on Chiller/HVAC systems, ACHVAC also completes large site upgrade projects where they'll be involved from the design to delivery process.
