About the Role

Prime Flooring Co Pty Ltd is seeking experienced Flooring Installers / Floor Finishers to join our growing Brisbane team. These are full-time, ongoing positions working across residential and commercial projects throughout Brisbane and South-East Queensland.

Interstate applicants are encouraged to apply. A relocation bonus is available to successful interstate applicants.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Measuring, cutting and installing carpet, underlay, carpet tiles, vinyl, laminate and hybrid flooring.
- Preparing concrete and timber subfloors by cleaning, levelling and addressing surface imperfections.
- Installing smooth-edge, trims, transitions and flooring accessories.
- Joining, stretching, securing and finishing carpet.
- Applying adhesives and appropriate flooring installation methods.
- Reading measurements, plans and installation specifications.
- Inspecting completed work and rectifying defects.
- Operating flooring tools and equipment safely.
- Maintaining clean, safe and professional work areas.

What We’re Looking For

- At least 12 months of relevant full-time flooring installation experience, or equivalent part-time experience.
- Practical experience installing carpet and other flooring products such as vinyl, laminate or hybrid flooring.
- Strong floor-preparation, measuring,



cutting and installation skills.
- Ability to work independently and maintain excellent workmanship.
- Good attention to detail, reliability and problem-solving skills.
- Current unrestricted driver licence.
- Construction White Card, or ability to obtain one.
- Appropriate Australian working rights.

A relevant flooring qualification is desirable but not essential.

What We Offer

- $80,000–$90,000 per year plus superannuation.
- Full-time, ongoing employment—38 hours per week.
