You’ll join early enough to build your own patient following, develop the areas of medicine you enjoy and have a genuine say in how you structure your week.

And while the clinic is current, the people behind it aren’t. The owners already run other practices, so you get the opportunity that comes with joining something new without being part of someone’s first attempt at building a medical practice.

The Stuff You Like To Know

Start: ASAP

Location: Eglinton Medical Collective, Eglinton, WA

Hours: Full-time preferred or part-time from 2 days per week

Billings: Predominantly private

Pay: 75% of billings initially, transitioning to 70% once your books have been consistently full for at least one month for a full-time GP

Guarantee: Up to $250/hr for 3 months

Appointments: Standard 15-minute consults, with longer appointments where clinically appropriate

Why Get In Early?

You’re not replacing another GP or inheriting somebody else’s way of doing things.

You’ll work alongside the GP owner and have the opportunity to build continuity with patients from the beginning. If you have an interest in women’s health, skin, neurodivergence or another area, there’s room to make that part of what the practice becomes.

And while the clinic is new, the people running it aren’t. The owners already operate other practices and have worked together for years. You get the freedom that comes with something new, with experienced people behind it.

You’ll practise from a brand-new clinic inside Eglinton’s shopping village.

There’s parking outside, Woolworths nearby and a pharmacy next door, owned by one of the practice owners. You’re visible and convenient for the growing number of young families living around you.

For you, that means less reliance on trying to manufacture demand. You’re becoming a local GP in a community that is already looking for one.

What Your Day Looks Like

- Standard 15-minute appointments, with longer consults where clinically appropriate

- Predominantly private billing
- A broad mix of family medicine, women’s health, men’s health and paediatrics
- An experienced practice manager and receptionist supporting your day

- Nursing support due to commence soon

- Three consultation rooms in a brand-new practice
- The opportunity to develop your own clinical interests as the practice grows

Work In A Way That Fits

Five days would be welcomed, but you don’t have to give five days to be part of it.

You can work from 2 days per week, with flexibility around your hours. If school drop-offs, earlier finishes or a particular working pattern matter to you, there’s room to discuss it directly with the owners.

What You Need

- VR GP preferred

- Comfortable practising independently and managing your own patient list

- Minimum 2 days per week if you’re looking for part-time

- Suitable international pathway GPs may also be considered [Confirm registration and supervision requirements]
