Vehicle Detailer & Customer Service Assistant

About us

Carbar and iDrive are part of an innovative Australian automotive group providing flexible vehicle subscription and rental solutions. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking person to join our team in a hands-on role focused primarily on cleaning and preparing vehicles for customers. You will also assist with customer handovers and move vehicles between our sites, mechanics and other service providers.

About the role

This is primarily a vehicle cleaning and preparation role, so you must be comfortable completing physical, hands-on work throughout the day.

Your responsibilities will include

- Cleaning and detailing vehicle interiors and exteriors
- Preparing vehicles to a high standard before customer collection or delivery
- Inspecting vehicles and reporting any damage, maintenance or presentation issues
- Moving vehicles between our sites, mechanics and other service providers
- Assisting customers with vehicle collections and returns
- Completing basic vehicle condition checks
- Helping with general site duties as required
- Providing friendly and professional customer service

About you





We are looking for someone who:
- Takes pride in presenting clean, well-prepared vehicles
- Is reliable, punctual and able to work independently
- Has a friendly and professional manner with customers
- Is comfortable performing physical work
- Can manage competing tasks in a busy environment
- Pays close attention to detail
- Holds a current unrestricted Australian driver’s licence
- Is confident driving different types of vehicles
- Is available to work Tuesday to Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm

Previous experience in vehicle cleaning, detailing, car rental, automotive operations or customer service would be helpful but is not essential.
