Role Description The Dental Receptionist is a full-time, on-site role based in Melbourne, VIC. This position is responsible for greeting patients, managing check-in and check-out processes, and coordinating appointment scheduling to ensure an productive daily workflow. The role includes answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, maintaining accurate patient records, and processing payments.

The Dental

Receptionist also supports the dental care team by preparing documentation, confirming appointments,



and helping patients with forms and general information, while maintaining a professional and friendly reception area.

Qualifications

- Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and Appointment Scheduling.
- Knowledge of basic Dental Care concepts to assist with patient queries and understand clinic procedures.
- Professional Phone Etiquette and clear Communication skills with patients, clinicians, and colleagues.
- Previous experience in a dental or medical reception role, or similar customer-facing administrative position.
- Proficiency with practice management or scheduling software and basic computer applications.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, maintain attention to detail, and handle confidential information appropriately.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced clinical environment and providing empathetic, respectful service to all patients.
- Renumeration is experience based and is paid above the standard award rates
