The opportunity:
- Take ownership of a busy afternoon depot operation
- Lead, support and develop an operational team
- Coordinate daily freight movement and dispatch
- Plan resources and ensure the right coverage across the shift
- Work closely with drivers and internal teams
- Maintain high standards across safety and compliance
- Monitor operational performance and address issues as they arise
- Identify ways to improve processes, productivity and efficiency
What you'll bring:
- Leadership experience within transport, freight, logistics or depot operations
- Strong people management and communication skills
- Sound knowledge of CoR, fatigue management and load restraint
- Good understanding of depot and freight operations
- A practical, hands-on approach to leadership
- Strong safety and compliance focus
- LF Forklift Licence
