Most of the DMs we speak to want the same things: real ownership of a project, reward for effort, and work they're proud to put their name to. It’s hard to get all three. This one ticks all of those boxes, which is exactly why people don't leave.

Our client is a privately owned Western Australian developer with a portfolio most of the market would recognise and a reputation built on doing things properly rather than fastest. The residential team is small, tightly held and long tenured. This role exists because the pipeline has grown, not because someone walked out the door.

What you'll be doing

- Due diligence, feasibility and deal evaluation on new acquisitions, then managing contract conditions through to settlement
- Driving planning and approvals, engineering and design coordination, through construction to titles
- Building and owning the feasibility, budget and cash flow, and reporting against the project business plan
- Managing consultants and contractors to time, cost and quality, including variations and claims




- Working with sales and marketing on strategy, collateral and title timing
- Managing relationships with funding partners, authorities and the community

Who we're looking for

A civil engineering background is genuinely useful here; the projects are engineering led and the client rates that grounding. But it's a preference, not a filter. If you're a robust performer from a property, town planning, construction or finance background and you can hold your own on a feasibility and a civil scope, we want to hear from you.

You'll also bring

- Experience delivering residential land in WA, or closely comparable work elsewhere
- Real financial analysis, feasibility and cash flow modelling skills, not just reading someone else's model
- Confidence managing a consultant team and holding it to account
- Clear, structured communication. This team values people who raise issues early
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, property, town planning or finance
