The Electrolux Adelaide Manufacturing Cooking Plant is a thriving and innovative example of modern advanced manufacturing in Australia. Encompassing fully automated sheet metal press lines, robot powder coating processes and automated gluing cells all leading to centralised assembly and packing. Consisting of a workforce of more than 400 employees, across three shifts and 50 robots all contributing to making approximately 2,000 ovens per day!

Your Role

As an Electrical Tradesperson at Electrolux, you'll play a key role in keeping one of Australia's most advanced manufacturing facilities running at peak performance. Working with cutting-edge automation, robotics, PLC-controlled equipment, and a highly skilled maintenance and engineering team, you'll be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving critical production systems.

This is a hands-on role that offers variety, technical challenges, and the opportunity to contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across a modern manufacturing environment. You'll be encouraged to bring new ideas, solve complex problems, and help drive operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

- Maintain, diagnose, and repair automated manufacturing equipment and plant systems

- Perform preventative and scheduled maintenance to maximise equipment reliability





- Respond to breakdowns and provide effective fault-finding solutions

- Work with robotics, servo drives, conveyors, PLCs, and other advanced manufacturing technologies

- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to reduce downtime and improve efficiency

- Record maintenance activities and asset information using our Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS)

- Support electrical upgrades, equipment modifications, and improvement projects

- Collaborate closely with production, engineering, and maintenance teams

- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with site standards and legislative requirements

- Contribute to a culture of safety, teamwork, reliability, and operational excellence

About you

You're a motivated and solutions-focused electrician who enjoys working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You take pride in your work, enjoy troubleshooting technical problems, and are always looking for ways to improve processes and equipment performance.

Australian working rights is a must have requirement

Skills and Qualifications

- Electrical Trade Qualification

- Current unrestricted "A" Class Electrical Licence

- Experience with PLC systems, ideally Siemens and/or Mitsubishi platforms

- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics

- Experience diagnosing and resolving electrical and automation faults

- Working knowledge of CMMS systems (Mainpac experience highly regarded)

- Robotics experience, preferably ABB systems

- AutoCAD experience for updating electrical drawings

- Strong understanding of preventative maintenance strategies

- Knowledge of electrical safety systems, risk assessment, and WHS requirements

- Sound computer and reporting skills

- Commitment to quality, environmental, and safety standards
