With a history of over 160 years in the Australian and New Zealand sugar industries, Wilmar Sugar Australia operations span the value chain from sugar cane growing, sugar manufacturing, refining, exporting, and marketing, to the production of renewable electricity, ethanol and sustainable agricultural products.

Job Vacancy

We are currently seeking applications for an experienced Engineering Tradesperson Mechanical initially engaged at Inkerman Mill in the Burdekin Region. This permanent position is a day work position with overtime and some weekend work required.

It is essential that the person we are seeking has the relevant competencies, experience,



and qualifications -Certificate III in Engineering Mechanical / Fitting and Turning Tradesperson. Our ideal candidate will have a proven high standard of performance, self-motivation, attendance, and punctuality.

The Opportunity The following qualifications are required in some of our trade roles; however, we are prepared to provide training to people who possess the right aptitude and team fit:

- Dogging High Risk Work Licence (HRWL)
- Forklift HRWL
- Overhead Crane Ticket
- Welding Skills
