This is a growth seat within that team, based out of either the Brisbane or Sunshine Coast office — your choice. It's an adult environment. About the Role

- End-to-end design work — concept through to detailed design — on road geometry, intersections and civil infrastructure for TMR and council clients across South East Queensland
- Day-to-day use of 12D and CAD to build, review and refine engineering models and drawings
- Designing to Austroads and TMR standards, with real ownership over keeping projects compliant
- Preparing quantity take-offs, engineering reports and technical specifications
- A genuinely client-facing role — regular contact with drafters, project managers and clients, not just heads-down technical work
- Involvement in some of the region's most significant transport programs, including joint-venture delivery, with a explicit runway into project leadership if that's the direction you want to grow in
- Hybrid working, with genuine autonomy to manage your own workload

About You

- Degree-qualified Civil Engineer with 6–10 years' post-graduate experience in Australian road and highway design — driven candidates at 4–5 years are genuinely encouraged to apply
- Solid, demonstrated experience working to TMR and Austroads standards
- Confident in AutoCAD; 12D experience is highly regarded, and any exposure to TMR-specific design software will set you apart
- CPEng or RPEQ status, or well on the way to it
- Any project leadership experience highly regarded
- Strong verbal and written communication skills — essential, given the client-facing nature of the role
- A genuine commitment to knowledge-sharing and developing others
