About the Role

n

We're looking for a creative, confident Occupational Therapist who is passionate about making a meaningful difference for people living with neurological conditions.

n

You'll support clients living with conditions including:

n

n
- Stroke
n
- Spinal cord injury
n
- Traumatic brain injury
n
- Multiple sclerosis (MS)
n
- Motor neurone disease (MND)
n
- Parkinson's disease (PD)
n
- Cerebral palsy
n
- Intellectual disability




n
- Other neurological conditions
n

What You'll Do

n

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Deliver comprehensive OT assessments, interventions, education and reports
n
- Prescribe and apply for assistive technology
n
- Build expertise in home modifications
n
- Support clients to achieve meaningful, long‐term goals
n
- Collaborate with a close‐knit multidisciplinary team
n
- Think creatively and tailor therapy to each client
n
- Mentor and supervise junior clinicians
n

Requirements

n

n
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.
n
- 3+ years of Occupational Therapy experience
n
- Experience working within an NDIS framework
n
- Successful candidates are required to undertake a Police Check, Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screen.
n
- Driver's Licence
n
- COVID-19 and Influenza vaccination
n

n

- Familiarity, knowledge and understanding of prescribing a range of assistive technology
n
- Understanding and awareness of supporting neurodivergence and family centred practice
n

n
