About The Role
n
Stowe Australia is seeking interest from a highly motivated, experienced Contract Administrator to be part of our Perth Construction Team.
n
The Contract Administrator will be responsible for managing the commercial and contractual requirements of our commercial construction works and coordinating project schedules.
n
The "ideal" candidate will come from an Electrical background and bring with them project management and technical expertise that can be built upon, although other backgrounds are welcomed.
n
Key Responsibilities
n
Reporting to the Business Management Team, primary responsibilities for this position include the following (but not limited to):
n
n
- Work closely with the project team to Develop, Maintain, and Manage Commercial and Contractual obligations of our business and projects.
n
- This is a hybrid role working between the Stowe office in Belmont and on the site located near Mandurah.
n
- Maintain proactive and positive relationships with our client, subcontractors, and suppliers.
n
- Be responsible for the administration of construction contracts from initiation to completion.
n
- Reviewing and negotiating of contracts with client and other stakeholders.
n
- Drafting and revising supplier sub-contracts, including preparing documents for tender and negotiation of purchase agreements with suppliers.
n
- Assist in resolving contractual issues and disputes in a timely manner.
n
- Participate in regular project team meetings across multiple projects.
n
- Ensure that projects are being managed proactively.
n
- Be responsible for reporting deliverables to the project lead, project team, and business managers.
n
- Assist in preparing all required reports for monthly project report meetings, proactively advise of any new risks, opportunities, or changes, and participate in strategic discussion.

Skills And Experience
n
n
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent would be highly regarded.
n
- 5+ years of experience in commercial and contract administration is ideal
n
- A background in Estimating would be beneficial
n
- Strong negotiation, communication, and organisational skills.
n
- Knowledge of construction laws, regulations, and industry standards.
n
- Advising on compliance with contractual obligations, including revisions to existing contracts.
n
- Outstanding organisation, time management, and prioritising skills.
n
- Ability to work effectively in a rapid-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
n
- Be a Team Player willing to accept responsibility.
n
- Requires strong computer skills to include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and database applications
n
