Job Description

The position is responsible for leading frontline livestock operations, coordinating staff and contractors, and ensuring resources are allocated to meet the operational needs of the business.

Key responsibilities

- Reporting to the Saleyard Manager, you will: Promote and maintain high standards of work health and safety, animal welfare and biosecurity.
n
- Reporting to the Saleyard Manager, you will: Work collaboratively with livestock agents, producers, transport operators and other stakeholders.
n
- Working closely with the Saleyard Manager and Operations Manager, you will provide hands-on leadership to operational staff and assist in ensuring livestock sales and associated activities run safely, efficiently and effectively.

- The role supports livestock sales, private weighing, transhipment, feeding and other livestock activities while maintaining high standards of animal welfare, biosecurity and workplace safety.
