A position has recently become available for a Dealershipaccountant based at our Geelong Kia and Chery Geelong dealership.

Reporting directly to the Dealer Principaland Group Financial Controller, the successful applicant will be responsible for:

Managing the day to day administration responsibilities

Supporting the accountingdepartment including accounts payable, accounts receivable and general administrative duties

Completion of monthly financial reporting

Preparation of daily cashflow

Preparation and lodgement of monthly BAS,Payroll Tax andannual FBT return

Credit card reconciliations

Perform Balance Sheet and General Ledger reconciliations

Analysis and reporting of departmental operations

Processing weekly Payroll and related responsibilities

Preparation of year endreports

Skills and experience

To be successful, you will possess the following skills and experience:

You will have completed a Bachelor degree in Accounting





Excellent organisation and time management skills

Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills

Processing accuracy and attention to detail

Disciplined work ethic

Effective communication and interpersonal skills

Competent in the use of computer applications

Ability to work autonomously

The drive and ambition to progress your career

Previous experience in a vehicle dealership preferred but not essential
