The Esplanade Hotel Queenscliff is a true local icon, right in the heart of Queenscliff and proudly serving the community since 1879. With a busy bistro, revamped beer garden, functions and a menu spanning pub favourites through to fresh, seasonal dishes, there's plenty happening in the kitchen.

We're looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join our team and play an important role in delivering outstanding food across our busy kitchen.

The Opportunity

n

As a Chef de Partie, you'll work alongside an experienced kitchen team producing a diverse menu that includes fresh seafood, steaks, burgers, pub classics, share plates and seasonal dishes.

You'll have the opportunity to:

- Work across a busy, high-volume kitchen
n
- Prepare and cook a variety of dishes across multiple sections
n
- Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency
n
- Work with fresh, seasonal produce
n
- Support the senior chefs with service and kitchen operations
n




- Contribute to a positive and supportive kitchen culture
n
- Develop your skills across different sections of the kitchen
n

What We're Looking For

We're after a Chef de Partie who:

- Has previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen
n
- Is confident working across different sections
n
- Has a strong understanding of food preparation and cooking techniques
n
- Can maintain quality and consistency during busy services
n
- Works well as part of a team
n
- Has a positive attitude and strong work ethic
n
- Is keen to learn, develop and progress their career
