Due to continued growth, an exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced HR Generalist to join the People & Culture team in Thomastown.

About the Role Reporting to the HR leadership team, you will act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing practical HR support and guidance across employee relations, HR operations, compliance, HR systems, employee experience initiatives, and people projects. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who enjoys working in a hands-on generalist role within a global organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Act as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing practical HR advice and support across employee relations, HR policies, procedures, recruitment, performance management, conflict resolution, absence management, disciplinary matters, and employment-related queries.
- Support employee relations matters including investigations, performance improvement processes, terminations, and workplace compliance issues.
- Build strong relationships with managers and employees to promote engagement, wellbeing, and a positive workplace culture.
- Maintain and update HR policies, procedures, templates, and documentation in line with Australian employment legislation, Fair Work requirements, National Employment Standards, and company policies.
- Manage employment contracts, onboarding and offboarding processes, employee records, and HR administration activities.
- Provide support and guidance on employee benefits programs, including superannuation, private health insurance, income protection, and wellbeing initiatives.




- Maintain accurate employee data within HR systems and prepare HR reports, workforce analytics, and insights to support business decision-making.
- Support HR systems, reporting processes, and continuous improvement initiatives, with exposure to Oracle HR systems being advantageous.
- Coordinate employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, induction, learning and development initiatives, employee experience programs, and regional HR projects.
- Assist with organisational change initiatives, internal communications, and people-related projects across the business.
- Ensure all HR activities are delivered efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards and legislative requirements.

Highly Regarded
- Experience within manufacturing, industrial, automation, engineering, or other global organisations.
- Exposure to HRIS platforms such as Oracle.
- Experience with global companies
