We're moving cargo for major mining projects, and we need someone to help us get it there on time and in one piece. If you love the buzz of making freight happen, this is your chance to step up and run your own patch with a team behind you.

Core responsibilities

- Coordinate the inbound freight for the project from supplier to site, across air, sea and road, and keep it moving against the project schedule.
- Own the shipment tracker and the long lead item list, and chase suppliers for ready dates, packing details and documents before cargo is booked.
- Work with the team on bookings, routings and carrier selection, including oversize, heavy lift and dangerous goods cargo.
- Prepare and check import documentation (commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading and airway bills) and make sure it is right before cargo lands.
- Coordinate customs clearance, biosecurity requirements, permits and duty or GST treatment with the customs team,



and escalate anything that could hold cargo up.
- Arrange port, terminal and depot handling, storage, and the final leg delivery to site or the client's laydown yard.
- Be the day to day contact for the client's supply chain and procurement people, giving them explicit shipment updates without them having to ask.

Qualifications

You don't need to have run a mining project before. If you've got a solid grounding in freight forwarding (bookings, documents, customs clearance, chasing suppliers and keeping clients in the loop) and you're ready to take the next step, we'll back you. You'll work closely with our GM and the team, and we'll teach you the project side as you go. What matters most is that you're sharp, organised, and not afraid to pick up the phone.
