We are looking for an Import & Customs Specialist to support our growing international logistics operations in Australia. This role will be responsible for coordinating import shipments, customs clearance and related logistics activities, working closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers, warehouses and internal teams.​

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate end-to-end import shipments, including booking, documentation, customs clearance, delivery and warehouse handover.​
- Work closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, airlines, shipping lines and other logistics partners to ensure smooth and timely clearance and delivery.​
- Prepare, review and maintain import documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant Australian customs and import requirements.​
- Monitor shipment and customs clearance status, proactively identify delays or exceptions, and coordinate timely resolution.​
- Liaise with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate shipment information, documentation and delivery arrangements.​
- Monitor import logistics performance, including clearance time, delivery time, service quality and operational issues.​
- Support import logistics supplier management, including performance monitoring, issue resolution and service reviews.​
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, customs documentation and operational data.​
- Identify opportunities to improve import and customs processes, reduce delays and improve operational efficiency.​




- Support other international logistics projects and operational activities as required.​

About You

- 2+ years of experience in import logistics, customs clearance, freight forwarding or a related field.​
- Solid understanding of Australian import processes, customs clearance and international freight operations.​
- Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, carriers and logistics service providers.​
- Strong attention to detail and a good understanding of import documentation and compliance requirements.​
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively across multiple parties.​
- Good written and spoken English, with the ability to manage business correspondence and communicate with overseas partners.​
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing shipment exceptions and operational issues.​
- Experience in cross-border e-commerce, courier or parcel logistics is highly regarded.​
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced environment.​
