Holley Nethercote provides legal, compliance and training services to financial services businesses across Australia. We do this via our law firm, Holley Nethercote Lawyers, and the HN Hub, our online compliance platform.

We have about 35 staff, with offices in Melbourne and Sydney and satellite staff in other locations. Our business has grown with a practical, technology-enabled approach to the way we deliver legal work, compliance content, training and client support.

As we continue to invest in systems, automation and AI, we are looking for an internal IT Manager to help us strengthen our technology foundations and support the next stage of growth. This is a hands-on, business-facing role for someone who can bring structure to our IT roadmap, work closely with our external providers, support cyber and governance priorities, and help embed AI safely and usefully across the firm and the HN Hub. This is a 0.6 role.

If you

- Have an IT qualification and at least 3 years’ experience in IT
- Are interested in practical IT leadership, AI implementation, automation, cyber coordination and system improvement
- Communicate clearly, pay attention to detail and can work with both technical providers and non-technical staff
- Can work autonomously,



manage priorities and follow through on business-critical deadlines
- Want to be part of a genuinely friendly, collegiate team where technology is used to make the business work better

About the role:

- Overseeing our IT roadmap
- Overseeing our IT governance, including AI Governance and cyber
- Managing existing IT relationships, including Actionstep, NetDocuments, HubSpot and Hub IT support
- Assisting with IT support
- Supporting the practical rollout of AI across the business, including AI governance, agent development, agent library management, testing, adoption and quality controls
- Co-ordinating testing, integrations, technical briefs and user experience improvement

This is not a traditional helpdesk-only role. We are looking for someone who can combine practical IT support with systems thinking, provider management, cyber awareness and a solid interest in AI.
