Role Description The Junior Accountant role at ISRM is a full-time, on-site position based in East Perth, WA. This role involves assisting with daily accounting tasks such as processing invoices, recording journal entries, maintaining general ledgers, and reconciling bank and account balances.

The Junior

Accountant supports month-end and year-end closing activities, prepares basic financial reports, and helps ensure compliance with internal controls and relevant accounting standards. The role also includes maintaining accurate documentation, collaborating with other team members on financial queries,



and providing administrative support to the finance function as needed.

Qualifications

- Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including general ledger maintenance, reconciliations, and basic financial reporting.

- Proficiency with accounting software and office productivity tools (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing, and financial management systems).

- Strong attention to detail, accuracy in data entry, and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

- Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a professional team workplace.

- Demonstrated integrity, discretion, and respect for confidentiality, especially when working with sensitive financial information.

- Relevant tertiary qualification or progress toward a degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
