Stevenson Builders is seeking a motivated Junior Foreman to assist with the daily supervision and coordination of construction projects. Working alongside the two Directors, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of project delivery, with mentoring and a clear pathway towards future site or project management duties.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activities.
- Assist with programming and construction sequencing.
- Monitor site safety, quality and workmanship.
- Conduct inductions, pre-starts and toolbox talks.
- Review drawings, specifications and scopes of work.
- Maintain site diaries, inspections and progress records.
- Assist with resolving site issues and managing defects.
- Help maintain a safe,
organised and professional site.
About you
- Qualified carpenter preferred.
- Commercial construction experience is desirable.
- Able to read and interpret construction drawings.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ambitious and interested in growing with the business.
- Current driver licence and Construction White Card.
