About the role

You will work alongside our Workshop Manager and experienced trades team, carrying out servicing, diagnostics, repairs and general mechanical work on a variety of light vehicles.

The successful applicant will be comfortable working both independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on quality workmanship, safety and customer service.

Key responsibilities

- Carry out servicing and mechanical repairs on light vehicles

- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults

- Carry out inspections and fault finding

- Complete preventative maintenance and general repairs

- Work autonomously when required

- Maintain a high standard of workmanship





- Complete job cards and relevant workshop documentation

- Assist with general workshop duties as required

- Participate in the breakdown roster when required

Skills & experience To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Trade qualification as a Light Vehicle Mechanic

- Current manual driver's license

- Previous experience in a mechanical workshop

- Strong mechanical diagnostic and repair skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Good communication skills
- A positive, reliable and helpful attitude
- A commitment to quality workmanship and customer service

Air conditioning experience is advantageous but not essential.
