Role: Loan Processing Officer

Location: Toorak, Melbourne

Work arrangement: Full-time, on-site

Compensation: $65,000-70,000 + Super

You'll be joining a growing fintech that provides flexible funding solutions to SMEs. Originally launched in Australia, the business now operates across APAC and Europe and has funded more than $5B in loans.

What You'll Do

- Prepare loan applications for internal assessment and review so files are ready to move forward cleanly and on time
- Review application details and supporting documents for completeness and accuracy, and identify gaps before they become delays
- Coordinate loan contracts, signatures, and document flow through to activation
- Keep records, spreadsheets, and internal systems up to date so the workflow stays accurate and reliable
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to progress applications, unblock issues, and keep deadlines on track
- Escalate discrepancies, delays, or documentation issues early in a role that is detail-heavy, process-driven, and built around consistency

Who we're looking for

You do not need prior lending experience, but you do need to be comfortable with structured, detail-heavy work and genuinely interested in building a career in finance operations.

Must-haves:

- Strong Excel and spreadsheet confidence
- Careful attention to detail, especially when working with documents, records, and data
- Good organisation and follow-through in routine, deadline-driven work
- The judgement to spot discrepancies and raise them early rather than letting issues sit

Nice-to-haves:

- 0–3 years of experience in administration, coordination, operations,



or another process-based office role
- Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced office environment where accuracy still mattered
- Exposure to document or contract handling and coordination
- Comfort using CRM platforms or other internal systems
- Any exposure to lending or financial services
