Role Description

The Registered Nurse – Clinical & Procedural Support role is a part-time, on-site position based at Géniale in Drummoyne, NSW. In this role, the nurse provides clinical and procedural support for skin cancer treatments, medical aesthetic procedures, and cosmetic surgeries, including patient preparation, intra-procedural assistance, and post-procedure care. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting clinical assessments, documenting patient histories, monitoring vital signs, maintaining infection control standards, and ensuring safe use of equipment and technology. The nurse coordinates with physicians and the wider clinical team to deliver individualized care plans, supports patient education on treatment options and aftercare,



and promotes a calm, professional environment. The position also involves maintaining accurate clinical records, adhering to regulatory and safety standards, and participating in quality improvement activities to enhance patient experience and outcomes.

Qualifications

- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the appropriate Australian regulatory body and eligibility to practice in NSW.
- Clinical nursing skills in procedural support, including patient assessment, monitoring, wound care, and post-procedure recovery.
- Experience or strong interest in dermatology, skin cancer management, cosmetic surgery, or medical aesthetics.
- Knowledge of infection prevention, sterilization standards, and safe handling of clinical equipment and technology.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear, empathetic patient education and support.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and contribute to a respectful, inclusive, and patient-focused environment.
- Demonstrated organizational and time-management skills, including accurate documentation and attention to detail.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with emerging clinical practices and technologies.
- Prior experience in a private clinic, day surgery, or similar setting is an advantage.
- Basic life support certification and familiarity with emergency response protocols are highly beneficial.
