Known for its collaborative, high-performing culture, the business is continuing to scale and is seeking an experienced Senior Fund / Investments Accountant to join their Finance team

The Role

Reporting to a Finance Manager this role is responsible for the fund accounting, operational and administrative functions across a portfolio of debt and private credit funds. You will be a key point of contact for institutional investors, custodians and service providers, and will play an key role in ensuring accurate, timely reporting across the fund suite.

Key responsibilities include:

- Managing day-to-day fund accounting for a portfolio of debt and credit funds, including cash movements, drawdowns, reconciliations and NAV oversight
- Acting as a key point of contact for institutional investors and custodians, resolving discrepancies and delivering accurate, timely reporting
- Overseeing tax and compliance obligations, from BAS lodgements through to annual financial statements and year-end reviews




- Providing technical accounting expertise on complex transactions and supporting broader process and systems improvement initiatives

The Successful Candidate

You will be a detail-oriented fund/investment accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is comfortable balancing hands-on delivery with a continuous improvement mindset. You'll bring:

- A relevant tertiary degree (Commerce, Finance or Business)
- CA or CPA qualification
- Exposure to private equity, private credit or direct investments
- Investment accounting experience within funds management, a custodian, or a large accounting firm
- Proven expertise in unit pricing, reconciliations, distributions and financial reporting
- Advanced Excel skills
- High attention to detail, strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively within a team
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with stakeholders
- A commitment to accountability, ethical conduct and client service excellence
