We’re expanding and looking for a hands-on Rubber/Mechanical Supervisor to lead our team in Lithgow, NSW. What you’ll be doing

- Lead, mentor, and supervise a team of belt splicers, trainees, and trades staff




- Coordinate daily maintenance activities to ensure safe, efficient site operations
- Plan and oversee shutdowns, inspections, and audits
- Work hands-on when needed – pulley, bearing, and mechanical maintenance
- Drive a safety-first culture – ensure full compliance with WHSE standards
- Engage directly with clients to maintain solid relationships and high service standards
- Promote reliability and continuous improvement across all site activities

What we’re looking for

- Certificate of Proficiency in Engineering – Mechanical (Fabrication-qualified applicants also considered)

- Proven experience in preventive maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting
- Leadership skills – ability to coach, mentor, and lead by example
- Dogging & Rigging tickets highly regarded
- Excellent communication and client engagement skills
- Commitment to WHSE excellence and safe work practices

- Ability to work independently, adapt to changing site conditions, and manage multiple tasks
