Role Description This is a full time, on-site Occupational Therapist role based in Werribee, VIC.

The Occupational

Therapist will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop individualized intervention plans, and deliver evidence-informed therapy to paediatric, adult, and aged care clients. Day-to-day responsibilities include providing home visits and clinic-based sessions, recommending and coordinating home modifications and assistive technology, and completing Functional Capacity Assessments and reports for NDIS and other funding bodies. The role involves regular communication with participants, families, support coordinators, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to ensure cohesive, goal-driven care.

The Occupational

Therapist will also maintain accurate clinical documentation, contribute to service quality improvement, and support vocational rehabilitation where relevant.

Qualifications

- Recognized degree in Occupational Therapy and current AHPRA registration (or eligibility), with rights to work in Australia.
- Demonstrated skills in functional assessment, goal setting,



and intervention planning across paediatric, adult, and aged care populations.
- Experience with home modifications, assistive technology prescription, and Functional Capacity Assessments for NDIS or similar schemes.
- Strong clinical documentation, report writing, and case management skills, including the ability to meet funding and regulatory requirements.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with clients, families, support coordinators, plan managers, and multidisciplinary colleagues.
- Ability to work autonomously in community and clinic environments, manage a varied caseload, and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced setting.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, ongoing professional development, and culturally safe, person-centered care.
- Current driver’s license and reliable transport for home and community visits; experience within NDIS, aged care, or TAC frameworks is highly regarded.
