Thispositionissuitedtoapracticalelectricalprofessionalwhocanconfidentlyinvestigatefaults,identifythecauseofequipmentproblemsanddelivereffectiverepairsinbothcustomer-siteandworkshopenvironments.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillworkwithabroadrangeofcommercialelectricalequipment,gainingexposuretoservicing,commissioning,technicaltroubleshooting,warrantysupportandequipmentsetup.

AstrongopportunityisavailableforanexperiencedElectrician/ElectricalFieldServiceTechniciantojoinanestablishedAustraliantechnicalserviceoperationsupportingcommercialcateringandfoodserviceequipment.

Thispositionissuitedtoapracticalelectricalprofessionalwhocanconfidentlyinvestigatefaults,identifythecauseofequipmentproblemsanddelivereffectiverepairsinbothcustomer-siteandworkshopenvironments.

Thesuccessfulcandidatewillworkwithabroadrangeofcommercialelectricalequipment,gainingexposuretoservicing,commissioning,technicaltroubleshooting,warrantysupportandequipmentsetup.

Key Responsibilities

- Attendcommercialcustomersitestoinvestigateandresolveequipmentfaults
- Diagnoseelectricalproblemsusingappropriatetestinganddiagnosticequipment
- Service,repairandmaintaincommercialcateringandfoodserviceequipment
- Performelectricaltestingandverifyequipmentisoperatingsafelyandcorrectly
- Identifyfaultyelectricalcomponentsanddetermineappropriaterepairsolutions
- Completeelectricalwiring,componentreplacementandequipmentmodificationswhereappropriatelylicensed
- Install,testandcommissionnewcommercialequipment
- Providepracticaltechnicalassistancetocustomersandservicetechnicians
- Respondtotechnicalenquiriesbytelephoneandemail
- Supportwarrantyinvestigationsandfollowserviceissuesthroughtoresolution
- Communicatewithmanufacturersandsuppliersregardingtechnicalfaults,componentsandspareparts
- Coordinatewithcontractorsandexternaltechnicianswhenrequired
- Identifyandarrangepartsandcomponentsneededtocompleterepairs
- Assistwithequipmentassemblyandelectricalsetup
- Maintainaccurateservicereports,repairrecordsandpartsinformation




- Supportworkshopandwarehouseactivitieswhenrequired
- Applysafeworkingpracticesandcomplywithrelevantelectricalandworkplacesafetyrequirements

Requirements & Eligibility

- Recognisedelectricaltradequalification
- Relevantelectricallicenceorappropriatelicensingeligibility
- Demonstratedexperienceinelectricaltroubleshootingandfaultdiagnosis
- Strongpracticalknowledgeofelectricalsystems,wiring,controlsandcomponents
- Experienceservicing,repairingormaintainingelectricalequipment
- Backgroundincommercialappliances,industrialequipment,machinery,foodserviceequipmentorelectro-mechanicalsystemsisadvantageous
- Abilitytodiagnosefaultsindependentlyandidentifypracticalrepairsolutions
- Previousfieldserviceorcustomer-siteexperience
- Abilitytocommunicateeffectivelywithcustomersandtechnicalpersonnel
- Professionalapproachwhendealingwithmanufacturers,suppliers,contractorsandserviceteams
- Strongorganisationalandproblem-solvingabilities
- Reliable,hands-onandsafety-consciousworkethic
