AWX are seeking an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our client based in Marrickville. This is an ongoing opportunity for a skilled fitter with strong mechanical maintenance and TIG welding experience. We are seeking candidates who has worked in Food/ Beverage/ Pharmaceutical industries (GMP Knowledge). The role requires you to work Monday to Friday 6am - 2pm with flexibility required for OT and weekend work. There is also a requirement to work at the Revesby site. Both sites are planned to relocate to Yennora in mid 2027.

What You'll Do:

- Mechanical fitting, maintenance and repairs (Preventative and breakdown)
- Machining parts and TIG Welding
- Upgrading machinery
- Fault finding, Tag and test
- Reading mechanical drawings
- Using hand and power tools
- Following all WHS and site procedures

What You'll Need:

- Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade qualification and experience
- Electrical Disconnect/ Reconnect Ticket
- Food/ Pharma manufacturing experience
- Experience working in confined spaces and at heights




- TIG welding experience is essential
- Ability to read mechanical drawings
- Reliable and safety-focused attitude
- Flexibility for overtime and weekend work
- Ability to work at Marrickville and Revesby as required
