KITCHEN4YOU is an established cabinet manufacturing and joinery business based in Campbellfield, Victoria. We specialise in the manufacture, installation and fitting of custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects.

Due to continued business requirements and an increasing volume of projects, we are seeking an experienced Cabinet Maker / Joiner to join our team on a full-time basis.

About the Position

The successful applicant will be responsible for the manufacture, assembly and installation of a range of custom-made cabinetry and joinery products. The position requires a practical and experienced tradesperson who can work accurately from plans and measurements and complete projects to a high standard.

About the role

This is a full-time Cabinet Maker / Joiner position with an established cabinet manufacturing and joinery business. You will be responsible for manufacturing, assembling and installing custom cabinetry and joinery for residential and commercial projects, working from architectural drawings and specifications.

Key responsibilities

- Read and interpret architectural drawings, plans, specifications and measurements
- Measure and mark materials accurately for cutting and assembly
- Select, prepare and work with timber, manufactured boards, laminates and other cabinetry materials
- Cut, shape and assemble components using appropriate hand and power tools and woodworking machinery
- Manufacture and assemble kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, vanities,



storage units and other custom joinery
- Install cabinetry and joinery at residential and commercial sites
- Fit doors, drawers, hinges, handles, shelving, hardware and other cabinet components
- Ensure cabinetry is accurately aligned, levelled and securely installed
- Inspect completed work to ensure it meets drawings, specifications and quality requirements
- Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop and worksite

About you

- Relevant trade qualification in Cabinet Making, Joinery or a closely related field
- Demonstrated professional experience as a Cabinet Maker / Joiner
- Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings and specifications
- Strong practical skills in cabinet manufacturing and installation
- Ability to use woodworking machinery, hand tools and power tools safely and effectively
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Ability to meet project deadlines and work efficiently in a busy environment
