Motor Vehicle Dealership Stock Controller

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Stock Controller to join Launic Motor Group in South Yarra, Victoria. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in maintaining the efficiency and accuracy of our inventory management systems. As Stock Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing stock levels, ensuring accurate records, and managing the flow of inventory throughout our operations. This position is integral to supporting our business operations and ensuring we maintain optimal stock availability for our customers.

Key responsibilities

- Monitor and maintain accurate stock levels across all inventory categories
- Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy of records
- Process stock receipts, transfers, and disposals in accordance with company procedures
- Liaise with suppliers and internal departments to manage ordering and delivery schedules
- Maintain detailed stock records and documentation using relevant systems and software
- Identify and resolve stock discrepancies promptly
- Generate stock reports and provide insights to management on inventory trends
- Support the wider administration team with general office duties as required

What we're looking for

- Proven experience working in a stock control or related dealership experience
- Strong organisational and attention to detail skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications




- Experience with EraPower DMS highly regarded
- Excellent numeracy skills and the ability to maintain accurate records
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal teams and external suppliers
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
- Previous experience in the automotive industry or retail environment is desirable
