PARC Engineering is looking for an established Operations Manager to lead our Victorian operations and play a key role in the continued growth of the PARC Engineering business. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who understands the demands of the construction, mining and resources industries and has the commercial, operational and people skills to deliver results.

As Operations Manager, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operations of the Melbourne branch, working closely with our leadership team, clients, project teams and workforce. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and commercially, while building strong client relationships and developing a high-performing local team.

Key responsibilities:

- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Victorian branch
- Managing and supporting project and site teams to ensure successful project delivery
- Planning and coordinating labour, resources, equipment and subcontractors
- Managing project performance, budgets, schedules and operational requirements
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Identifying new business and project opportunities within the Victorian market
- Supporting tendering, estimating and commercial activities
- Monitoring project costs, productivity and profitability
- Ensuring compliance with company policies, WHS requirements and relevant industry standards
- Recruiting, developing and managing employees across the Victorian operation
- Implementing effective systems and processes to improve operational efficiency




- Providing regular reporting and operational updates to senior management
- Identifying and resolving operational issues before they impact project delivery
- Representing PARC Engineering professionally within the Victorian construction, mining and resources sectors

We are looking for a commercially minded and practical Operations Manager who can lead from the front.

You will ideally have:

- Proven experience in an operations, project management or senior leadership role
- Experience within construction, mining, resources, engineering or a related industry
- Strong understanding of project delivery, workforce management and commercial outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects or work fronts
- Robust financial and commercial awareness
- Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship-building skills
- A proactive approach to business development and client relationships
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
- The ability to make decisions and take ownership
- A strong commitment to safety, quality and operational excellence
- A hands-on approach and willingness to get involved where required
