Work - Reporting to the Supervisor - Operations, you will be responsible to ensure water distribution and system monitoring activities as well as maintenance, refurbishment and enhancement of infrastructure, as required. You will be required to undertake preventive, corrective and emergency maintenance work to the required standard and within the required timeframes, where required.

As an Operator Maintainer at Sunwater, you will:

- Deliver operational and maintenance activities safely and efficiently, in line with business processes and compliance requirements.
- Conduct fault analysis, recommend solutions, and identify risks and mitigations.
- Maintain surveillance of water supply infrastructure and provide timely feedback on asset condition and performance.

Please note that as part of the requirements for this role, you will participate in a 1 in 2 on-call roster which may require some weekend work. We're looking for someone who is safety-focused, mechanically minded and enjoys working in a hands-on environment. Whether you're an experienced operator or maintainer, have a background in civil construction, utilities or heavy industry, or you're looking to start a rewarding career in the water industry, we'd love to hear from you.

You'll be a reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills, a positive attitude and a willingness to learn. For experienced candidates, this role offers the opportunity to apply your existing skills and knowledge in a critical water infrastructure environment. For entry-level candidates, Sunwater will provide training, support and development to help you build a successful long-term career in the water industry In addition, you will be able to demonstrate:

- A current C Class driver's licence




- Confined Space and Working at Heights tickets, or the ability to obtain them
- The ability to obtain a Certificate III in Water Operations
- A willingness to work outdoors and perform physically active work as required
