How does this apply?

We are on the hunt for an energetic, proactive and results-driven Paralegal to join our busy Legal team in a part-time capacity, ideally working three days per week from our Pyrmont Studios.

This role brings Unwavering Unity to life by working closely with the Head of Legal and Legal Counsel, as well as stakeholders across the broader business, to deliver responsive, accurate and practical support across a varied range of legal and commercial matters.

In practice this looks like:

- Responding to complaints, including commercial radio code complaints, and compiling data and reports relating to complaints.
- Preparing and reviewing terms and conditions for trade promotions, together with prize supplier agreements, opt-ins, waivers and other supporting documents.
- Supporting the Legal team to advise the business on legal risk and compliance requirements for radio campaigns, advertising, events, projects and competitions.
- Preparing basic commercial contracts, including confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements, using approved templates and escalation pathways.
- Conducting legal research across media-related practice areas, including intellectual property, music licensing, privacy, advertising, social media, consumer law and employment law.
- Assisting with company secretarial and regulatory filings, insurance claims, correspondence and information-gathering tasks.




- Maintaining document management systems, matter records, trackers and templates, and providing general Legal team administration.

Skills that help you succeed in this role:

- Currently studying law or having completed a law degree,



with experience in a paralegal or similar legal support role preferred.
- A genuine interest in commercial and media law, including intellectual property, privacy, advertising, social media, consumer law and music licensing.
- Strong legal research, analytical and drafting skills, with excellent written and verbal communication.
- A proactive, organised and results-driven approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High attention to detail, sound judgement and a strong ethical approach, together with enthusiasm for NOVA’s products and the media industry.
