About the role

Pristine Pools & Spas is seeking a reliable and motivated Pool Service Technician to join our Darwin team. The role involves working independently across scheduled service runs while being supported by our operations and administration team. We provide ongoing maintenance and technical services across residential, commercial and government aquatic facilities throughout the Darwin and Palmerston regions.

Key responsibilities

- Routine servicing and maintenance of swimming pools and aquatic facilities
- Water testing, recording results and balancing pool chemistry
- Adding and handling pool chemicals safely
- Vacuuming, brushing and general pool cleaning
- Cleaning skimmer and pump baskets
- Backwashing filters and cleaning cartridge filters
- Inspecting pumps, filters, chlorinators and associated pool equipment
- Identifying and reporting equipment faults, leaks and maintenance issues
- Completing digital service reports, photographs and water chemistry records




- Communicating professionally with customers and facility representatives

About you

- Current Australian driver's licence
- Positive mechanical and practical skills
- Ability to work independently and manage a daily schedule
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to use a mobile phone/tablet for digital job reporting
- Positive communication and customer service skills
- A reliable and professional attitude
- Ability to safely perform physical and outdoor work in Darwin conditions
- Previous pool industry experience is preferred
- Experience with pool pumps, filtration systems, chlorinators, chemical dosing systems, water chemistry or commercial aquatic facilities will be highly regarded
