SA Power Networks is excited to offer new opportunities for qualified Electricians to transition into a rewarding career as Powerline Workers.

This unique program is based on a 4-year training contract, but thanks to our extensive on-the-job training and Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) processes, you can complete the pathway and obtain your Certificate III in ESI - Distribution Overhead in almost to 2 years.

This position is based at our Kingscote Depot.

Training will be delivered through our in-house training centre based in Adelaide.

So, to make your training journey easier, we’ll provide the accommodation, travel and Living Away from Home Allowance (LAFHA) to support you anytime it's required, allowing you to focus on your development and success in your new position.

- Base wage of $102,971p.a. (plus allowances and overtime)
- Work 8 hour days on a 9-day fortnight.

About you To be successful in this role, you’ll bring:

Essential

- Certificate III in Electrotechnology
- Electrical Workers Licence
- Australian citizenship or permanent residency
- Current Class-C Australian driver’s licence

Desirable:
- EWP, White Card, First Aid, Rigging & Dogging
- Experience working on 33kV aerials and switchgear
- Involvement in power, control and protection system upgrades
- Exposure to industrial, commercial or heavy electrical environments
