Your new role

As The Principal Finance & Performance Analyst, You Will Lead Advanced Data Analytics And Reporting Initiatives That Turn Complex Financial, Clinical And Workforce Information Into Meaningful Insights For Decision-makers Across Metro South Health. You Will

- Lead the extraction, analysis and interpretation of complex financial and clinical data, providing insights that support strategic and operational objectives.
- Develop contemporary reporting solutions, including dynamic Power BI dashboards and data visualisations, tailored to the needs of senior leaders and stakeholders.
- Partner with clinical, operational, finance and HFA teams to identify opportunities, develop dashboards and implement Power Automate workflows that improve efficiency and streamline reporting.
- Present complex findings in a transparent and actionable way, contribute to strategic initiatives and drive continuous improvements in reporting practices and performance.

About You You are an experienced analyst who combines robust financial and data expertise with the ability to build relationships, communicate complex information and identify opportunities for improvement. You have:

- Demonstrable experience collecting, analysing and evaluating complex information, identifying trends and translating data into meaningful conclusions and insights.
- High-level knowledge of financial systems, Queensland Health policies and datasets,



and financial management practices within the public health sector.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to understand customer needs, communicate effectively and work constructively through challenging or complex situations.
- Strong technical capability across relevant financial and clinical data applications, including Excel, DSS, S4 Hana, Power BI, Power Automate, SharePoint and Power Apps, together with a commitment to continuous improvement.

About The MSH Finance And Performance Reporting Team As a centralized reporting hub within MSH Finance, our team is dedicated to streamlining financial services and reporting processes across the health service. We specialize in developing, maintaining, and continually enhancing a comprehensive suite of data products utilized MSH-wide. Leveraging dynamic tools such as Power BI and Power Automate, we build versatile ETL processes tailored to diverse reporting needs, ensuring our stakeholders are equipped with reliable, automated, and actionable financial insights.
